Lotus Organizes Asian Congress: ‘Rooted in Transplants, Yet Beyond Boundaries’
2025-09-09 13:23:12 From June 7–9, the 8th Asian Hair Restoration Congress & 7th China Hair Restoration Congress opened in Hangzhou, with Lotus Medical Group, China’s leading hair restoration company, appearing not only as an exhibitor but also as an organizer, alongside Hangzhou First People’s Hospital (Westlake University Medical School) and Huashan Hospital, Fudan University.
As the first Chinese company to implement non-shaven hair transplant techniques, Lotus demonstrated two live non-shaven FUE surgeries on June 9, showcasing innovations in follicle extraction and implantation. Previously, Lotus launched 42 live non-shaven surgeries nationwide at the 2023 Head Aesthetics Island Trend Conference, leaving a strong impression on the industry.
Ahead of the Congress, Lotus co-hosted the Scalp Health High-Quality Development Forum, bringing together experts and industry leaders to discuss head aesthetics and hair health, emphasizing diverse and personalized care. Chairwoman You Lina highlighted:
"Good head aesthetics boost confidence and are an essential element of a high-quality life. Lotus keeps pace with evolving needs, striving for excellence in clinical techniques and innovative research."
Since its founding in 2005, Lotus has driven brand and industry development by establishing technology R&D centers, expanding flagship hospitals, and launching proprietary hair care products, building a comprehensive hair health ecosystem integrating transplantation, care, and scalp health, supported by 18 core patents.
From being the first company in China to introduce FUE to pioneering non-shaven hair transplants and fully phasing out traditional methods, Lotus has established itself as an industry leader. As Lotus Vice General Manager Lu Yu noted:
"Our business began with hair transplants, but it is far more than hair transplants. From transplant to hair care to scalp health, Lotus is exploring forward-looking solutions and will soon share the results with the public."
Today, Lotus operates 43 direct clinics and dozens of hair care stores nationwide, employing 130+ doctors, 900+ nurses, and 3,500 staff, serving over 500,000 clients. Chairwoman You Lina emphasized the three “uses” in patient care: work with heart, work with professional skill, and work with sincerity, underscoring Lotus’s commitment to medical excellence and lifelong service.
Since 2020, Lotus has upheld the brand mission:
"Compassionate care, medical excellence, and lifelong support for clients’ hair health and well-being,"
and core values: Client First, Integrity, Pragmatism, Responsibility, Innovation, and Efficient Execution. As You Lina explained, head health is a lifelong commitment, requiring ongoing care, treatment, and post-operative maintenance, which Lotus provides as part of its enduring mission.
In a competitive market, You Lina stressed the importance of brand values: "They are the company’s foundation, a shield against temptation, and critical to survial. Values must not only exist but also be executed efficiently.
